Given the complexities of the Critical Services Redevelopment Project including the magnitude, the most complex functions of the hospital, as well as the sharing of a common facility with adults and pediatrics, this project was stalled for over 20 years.
Our project manager at PharmEng reviewed the entire process and established an organization structure and schedule, and costs in order for the successful deliver of this project.
PharmEng established user groups to define requirements for each program and managed the cultural shift required to accommodate both adult and pediatric programmes into one building.
Project teams were managed to control the scope of work from the various disciplines including surgical suites, intensive care, emergency, and central sterilization for both adult and pediatrics programs.
